God has taken worry out of me through prayer. Live in the moment

God had me in isolation for 6 months last year. I had lessons to learn and needed to listen to God about my life mission. I never felt lonely at all because I had God.

I praise the Lord with a joyful noise. No musical talent. He loves my stained glass mosaic art!

You can change the verbage but it doesnt change the desire. But it boils down to God will reveal in His time and we need to be still and listen no matter how we ask.

I agree with your connection between desire for sex and need for intimacy. And contrasting accumulation with the need for fulfillment. But I don't experience the desire for entertainment and need for meaning; those two are not connected for me in any way. Still, two out of three is pretty good. 😊

NIV: "The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord" BUT, the horse was made ready for the day of battle! You seem like a good guy with a good message but please tell the message, the whole message, nothing but the message. By telling half the verse you give people the impression that they can sit back and do nothing. I've heard this verse quoted in such a way that it implies that we are to do nothing as if it were a commandment. The verse clearly states that we are too ready the horse for battle, that is our part, then the Lord provides the victory.
